Since its inception in 2014, Dementia Support has been tremendously grateful to a number of Charitable Trusts and Foundations who share our vision of a world where people affected by dementia are fully supported.
We needed to raise £1.74 million in order to create our innovative new dementia hub, Sage House, and we were lucky enough to receive many substantial contributions to enable us to achieve this aim. Sage House was opened in May 2018, and supportive Trusts and Foundations now help us ensure all our specialist dementia services and facilities are free or affordable for all those who need them.
Many thanks to our local supportive Trusts and Foundations which include:
- The F Glenister Woodger Trust
- The Friarsgate Trust
- The Bassil Shippam and Arlesford Trust
- The Arthur Williams Charitable Trust
- The Gerald Micklem Charitable Trust
We are also fortunate to have the support of many more, including:
- The Peacock Charitable Trust
- The Wolfson Foundation
- Garfield Weston Foundation
- The Wates Foundation
All grants, no matter how large or small, help to transform the lives of thousands of people affected by dementia across our area in West Sussex. We use robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to report on exactly how grants benefit our customers and how our work is helping to create a wider dementia-friendly community. Thank you to all the Trusts and Foundations who support us.
