Meet the Team

Sally heads up the team at Sage House, Dementia Support as the CEO.

She has overseen the charity from the latter project stages, through to the renovation and opening of Sage House in May 2018.

Sally joined Dementia Support having previously worked at West Sussex County Council for over 24 years. She holds an MBA and CMI Diploma in Strategic Leadership and is experienced in designing and developing services to support vulnerable people to live independently. Sally has also worked closely with the Voluntary and Community Sector in West Sussex for a number of years.

Sally has personal family experience of dementia and recognises how important overall dementia support is for both the person living with dementia as well as their family and carers. She lives in the Arundel area and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Isla started working for Dementia Support in May 2018 as the Sage House Services Manager. She moved here from Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust after 6 ½ years working as an Admin Team Lead, then Business Manager for West Sussex Dementia Services, which has led to my passion for improving services for people living with Dementia and their Carers.

Isla has spent 16 years, on and off, working for the NHS in different roles from GP Practice Management in London, Complaints with NHS West Sussex and various roles with Forensic and Dementia Services with Sussex Partnership. She also had a brief stint with the Crown Prosecution Service after moving to Chichester. Her role with Dementia Support is to manage the day to day operations of the services run at Sage House.

Lisa has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years developing the fundraising and communications capacity of a various charities. She is passionate about helping people and enjoys seeing the direct impact of her work in delivering services for people affected by dementia in her local community.

Martha began working at Sage House in April 2018 as Head of Care and Activities. Having watched the charity grow over the last few years and working alongside them while chairing the Dementia Action Alliance for Bognor and Chichester she was keen to join to the team of such an innovative service.

As head of our Day Breaks service she will be developing the services we offer throughout the week which allows carers to take time out from their caring roles. She is also managing the community activity provision which provides a wide range of activities for people living with dementia and their carers to take part in together. Martha strives for excellence and delivering quality care for all, which includes developing and supporting the team of support workers at Sage House to offer a first class service. It is her aim that people living with dementia can continue to enjoy life and sharing the stories of lives with others to maintain their identity as the travel through their journey with dementia, and allowing families to take time for themselves and relax knowing that their loved one is safe and well cared for.

Jo joined Dementia Support in November 2020, she is a qualified Certified Accountant with 20 years’ experience in the charity sector and holds a certificate in Health Economics.

Jo is responsible for Finance and HR operations of the organisation and brings significant experience from previous roles in healthcare and disability charities and aims to use this to contribute to the provision of quality services to all Sage House customers.
