Events

We hold a variety of events to raise funds for the charity – see below for details and dates.  We also take part in many events in the community, where you can find us with a Dementia Support stall.

Dates for your Diary

  • BBQ Sausage Sizzle, Homebase, Chichester – Saturday 27th July, 9am – 4pm,  & Sunday 28th July, 10am – 4pm. We will be selling BBQ sausages and refreshments to raise money for Dementia Support.
  • Military Talk (topic TBC) Sage House, Tangmere – Friday 6th September, 7pm – 9.30pm.  Volunteer Sheryl Green has given many talks about Tangmere and the SOE to our military veterans group.  She will be giving a special talk to raise funds for the charity. £8 per person, refreshment included.
  • Bingo Night, Sage House, Tangmere – Friday 27th September, 7pm – 9.30pm.  Join us for a night of  ‘two fat ladies’ and ‘clickety-click sixty six!’ £8 per person, includes a ploughmans.
  • BBQ Sausage Sizzle, Homebase, Chichester – Saturday 26th October, 9am – 4pm,  & Sunday 27th October, 10am – 4pm. We will be selling BBQ sausages and refreshments to raise money for Dementia Support.
  • Singing for Dementia, A Winter Concert, St Paul’s Church, Chichester – Saturday 2nd November, 7pm – 9pm.  Come and listen to the harmonious singing of Harbour Voices Choir. £5 per person, includes glass of wine. Tickets available to buy from September.
  • Quiz Night, Sage House, Tangmere – Friday 29th November, 7pm – 9.30pm.  Test those brain cells in our Quiz Night. Teams 4-6 people, £8 per person – includes chilli con carne meal (vegetarian option available).
  • Race Night, Sage House, Tangmere – Friday 13th March 2020, 7pm – 9.30pm.  Try your luck on the gee-gees and cheer on your horse. £8 per person, includes picnic box.

Sponsored Events

Challenge yourself and raise money to help people to live well with dementia!

Taking part in a sponsored event, such as a run, walk or parachute jump, is a fun and challenging way to raise money. You can sign up to an established event or do your own. Whatever you’re doing to raise money for Dementia Support we’d love to hear from you!
