This is an exciting new role in a young and dynamic charity who have big plans and ambitions to support people living with dementia in an unprecedented way. We are looking for someone equally dynamic, with proven experience, to work alongside our CEO to successfully realise the overall goals of the charity, particularly with regard to its fundraising effort. Following a successful capital appeal, we have consolidated dementia services in the area into one central location – Sage House, which was officially opened in May 2018. In this state-of-the-art Hub we are delivering a wide range of vital services which are all designed to provide innovative and empowering care, support, information, advice and activities for those living with dementia and their carer’s. As the ideal candidate you will have; – Experience of developing and implementing a successful a robust fundraising/income generation strategy and a track record of successful delivery – Understanding of how both digital and marketing strategies can successfully support fundraising with the ability to plan and deliver them – Effective leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach, inspire and motivate others You will bring skills and experience, energy to work creatively, strong initiative and above all, a positive attitude. We need someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who is also happy to get their hands dirty – this is a ‘doing’ role as well as a leadership role as we are a small team.
